Academic scholarships are generally awarded to new and transfer students at the time of acceptance to the College. Award amounts range from $ 3,500 to full tuition and fees per year. These scholarships are a part of a student’s “award package” and may be applied to tuition and mandatory fees only. Individual award amounts will be reduced by federal and state award grants if the combination exceeds actual tuition and fees. In no case will a student receive a combined award greater than the cost for tuition and fees. Students in need of additional money for books or living expenses must apply for a student loan.

Academic scholarships are awarded up to four years and will be renewed annually provided full-time status in fall and spring semesters and a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0. Achievement grants are renewable based on a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
