Accounting Society
Seeks to stimulate interest in the profession of accounting through a program of guest speakers, field trips, and other activities.

Arab-American Society
Explores the diversities of the Arab culture, brings together the various ethnicities of Arabs around the campus and establishes open forums regarding Middle Eastern politics, religion, history and modern culture.

Backstage Club
Fosters an interest in the entertainment, fashion and retail industries for students pursing careers in these areas.

Botanical Society
Maintains a greenhouse located on the 7th floor of the school and is open to anyone who enjoys working with plants.

Ensures greater academic relationship among its members and promotes  constructive social/cultural relationship within the College.

Chemistry Club
Seeks to stimulate interest in the field of chemistry.

Christian Club
Shares Christian fellowship with all students at St. Francis College and studies the Bible together as a community.

College Republicans
Develops political skills and leadership abilities among Republican students as preparations for future service to the party and community at large.

College Choir
Was created to provide a musical outlet to students. The group performs at special College events and sponsors concerts throughout the year.

Criminal Justice and Sociology Club
Promotes interest and provides an exciting atmosphere in which students can expand their knowledge in the area of sociology and the criminal justice system.

Dance Team
In its fifth year, the St. Francis Dance Team now boasts 14 members. The team performs dance routines at each of the men's and women's home basketball games as well as other student events like Terrier Tuesday and Open House.

Fosters an interest in the history of Eastern Europe.

Economics Society
Was founded to promote awareness and interest of economic issues.

Education Society
Is primarily composed of students who plan careers in the area of education. The group sponsors various community-related events for underprivileged children. These events help promote educational and social growth in the children and provide the club members with field experience.

English Club
Is geared towards building a stronger interest in literary and academic activities among the College community.

Fencing Club
It is our goal to allow students to learn the art of fencing through training and competitive combat.

Finance Club
Promotes interest and provides an atmosphere for students to expand their knowledge in finance.

Fine Arts Society
Focuses on giving artists and poets a chance to display their work and have a forum from which they can be represented.

French Club
Is dedicated to the promotion and interest in the French language, culture and history.

Government and Politics
We are a forum for respectful discussion and debate on current issues in the spheres of American and International politics.  Anyone from any background, member of any political party, majoring in any subject, interested in any profession can be a member of The GPC.  As knowledgeable, intelligent, opinionated people, we strive to create an atmosphere where opinions can be voiced and debated without disrespectful commentary. Fosters an understanding of the Haitian American cultural system and its history.  This goal is achieved by enforcing the importance of this nationality.

Is composed of students dedicated to the advancement of the social sciences. It is open to any major.

Honors Club
Sponsors academic, cultural, community service, and school spirit activities (i.e. Career/ Graduate School Seminars, foreign films, “FROGS”). Members are motivated to act as leaders in all aspects of College life and especially within the club.

Information Technology Club
Enlightens students and faculty on current developments in the computer industry and in the field of computer science.

Italian Historical Society
Sponsors film festivals and events centering on the Italian culture. During the 2007-08 school year, the club will be holding events for Columbus  Day  (October 8th), An Italian Christmas (December) and taking a trip to Little Italy in the Spring.

Latin-American Society
Fosters an interest in Spanish culture at St. Francis by means of lectures, movies and its most noted function- the Spanish Fiesta. Each year the club, along with the Puerto Rican Cultural Society, awards the Honorary Roberto Clemente Medal to the graduating member who has exhibited outstanding scholastic achievement in Spanish and has actively participated in the attainment of club goals.

Meets regularly to learn and practice self-defense. Also talks about Martial theory and philosophy.

Promotes international cooperation and cohesiveness to achieve international peace and understanding.

Philosophy Club
The Poorman’s Roundtable, is a weekly friendly forum for philosophical exchanges. Faculty members and students engage in lively discussions, and take turns giving presentations on a variety of philosophical topics.

Physical Education Club
Coordinates, promotes and encourages student participation in national physical education programs.  Members engage in local and national volunteer opportunities.

Power Lifting Club
Founded to promote awareness of and interest in weightlifting, fitness and power lifting.

Pre-Medical and Health Professions Club
Promotes interest in the medical and health profession through research, conferences and symposiums.

Psychology Club
Stimulates interest in psychology, specifically in those areas that are not covered in course work. This goal is achieved by means of guest lecturers and field trips.

Recording Club
Promotes student talent in the areas of singing and playing of musical instruments it also offers musical performances to the college and its community.

Robotics Club
Primarily focuses on the design and construction of robots. This objective is brought forward through lectures, field trips and other special events.

Science Society
Is a unification of the Charles Darwin Biological Society, and Chemistry Society. The society provides a variety of speakers each year as well as information concerning the various career objectives of the members.

Scribbles
Scribbles is a club that promotes creativity in writing, art and music. It aims to give students a stress-free outlet to interact with others and have fun. At the end of each semester,  we collect some of our members random writings, artwork, and lyrics to publish in a pamphlet.

Society of Claudel
Seeks to stimulate interest in the Roman Catholic religion and manifests its faith through cultural events.

St. Thomas More Pre-Law Society
Seeks to inform potential law students of the many facets in the profession. During the year representatives of law schools and professionals address the members. Information about requirements for the Law School Admission Test is also presented.

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD)
Helping fellow students make positive decisions, SADD will be hosting three events during this school year; Tree of Life (December), a concert to benefit the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation, and an event on suicide awareness and stress relief in the Spring.

Student-Athlete Advisory Board
Promotes communication between the athletic administration and student-athletes.

Troupers
Founded in 1925, the Troupers is the College's dramatic organization. The members act, produce, and direct several full-length and one-act plays each year. Guests from the professional theater demonstrate techniques at meetings. Its aims are not only cultural and literary, but also practical since it offers experience in theater arts. The Troupers are currently planning to perform a Fall semester play November 30 and December 1.
