Master's Degree in Accounting

Dr. Geoffrey Horlick describes the advantages of enrolling in the Master's of Accounting Program at St. Francis College.

Five Year Combined Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Accounting

St. Francis College offers a combined 150 credit-hour BS/MS degree program for undergraduate students majoring in accounting.  While the program can be completed in four years, most students spread the course work over a five year period and graduate with both degrees after completion of the 150 credit hours.  The college’s first class of graduate students received their degrees in the spring of 2008, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of St. Francis.  Since then, the number of graduates has tripled in size and the program continues to attract highly qualified and motivated students.  Graduates have had an excellent track record in securing employment;  they are working for Big 4 accounting firms, regional and local accounting firms, private industry and array of not-for-profit organizations.

This program enhances the already successful track record at St. Francis College for producing alumni who have gone on to excel in the field of accounting.  Our alumni work at all the major accounting firms.  Some hold titles from CEO of major corporations to partner positions in CPA firms.

With the combined BS/MS program, our students leave college ready to sit for the CPA exam and to immediately start their careers.

Please Note: This program is only available for undergraduate students and can not be entered after already receiving a Bachelor's Degree.
