Fields of Study

Advertising and Public Relations
With courses led by professors with years of real-world experience and the opportunity to intern at New York City companies, you are well-positioned for life after college.

English and Communications
This combination of Communications Arts and English majors leads to a well-rounded education with strong foundations in both subjects.

Film and Broadcasting
Learn in and use one of only about a dozen HDTV Production Studios on college campuses around the country. You have the opportunity shoot your own program or movie in studio or out, then edit on one of almost 20 Mac G5's with Final Cut Pro, the same software used to make feature films.

Performance Studies
Students in the Performance Studies track perform in a state-of-the-art amphitheater with custom acoustics and lighting. Departmental theater projects incorporate faculty, students, guest artists and alumni. Faculty and graduates have appeared in myriad television, film and performance venues throughout the country including Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional and experimental theaters. A number of graduates pursue advanced degrees in performance, design, dramatic writing, dramatic criticism and theater history.
