St. Francis College students have several opportunities to continue their studies outside of the United States. Many students take advantage of this every year, studying in places as diverse as The Sorbonne in Paris,  Madrid, Rome, Prague, Costa Rica, Australia and even a Semester-at-Sea.

Study Abroad
St. Francis College is a member of the College Consortium for International Studies. Students who wish to study abroad have great flexibility in when and where they want to travel and study and for how long. Financial Aid is also available.

Franciscan Pilgrimage
Every year, two students are selected by the College for a free ten-day Franciscan Pilgrimage to Italy.

Fulbright Program
St. Francis College students, faculty and staff are eligible to apply for the Fulbright program. For more information contact Fulbright Program Advisor and Fulbright Campus Representative Virginia Franklin at 718-489-5223.

Fine Arts Professor and Co-Director of the Study Abroad Program talks about the benefits of spending a semester away.

SFC Quote

I have never had such an enriching and life changing experience before. Italy is a beautiful country and Rome is a city that has no other words to describe it but simply breathtaking. To live in it and embrace such entities as the arts, the history, the food, and most importantly culture, my culture no less, is a true gift that I consider myself nothing but lucky and very fortunate for having experienced. I strongly encourage anyone to consider studying abroad.
