Welcome to the Office of Freshman Studies

Making the jump from High School to College is a daunting experience for anyone. That's why we at the St. Francis College Office of Freshman Studies make it our mission to improve the quality of your first experiences at College by helping you with everything from academics to personal issues. That includes guiding you through the crucial social adjustment you have to make during college life.

Adjusting to the rigors of academic life is a priority at Freshman Studies. The department provides advisement and guidance to all incoming freshmen. The Freshman Studies program includes a Freshman Summer Orientation, a mandatory Freshman Seminar course (SFC 1001), academic advisement, and various workshops. Working closely with the Academic Enhancement Center, the Office of Freshman Studies strives to meet the changing needs of incoming freshmen.
