Professor Paliogiannis received his Ph.D. in Mathemaics from the City University of New York in 1991. He was a Fellow of the Graduate School of the City University and he taught mathematics for several years at Hunter College. In 1999 he joined the faculty of the mathematics department of St Francis college. Professor Paliogiannis is the chair and the mathematics advisor of the Department. His field of specialization is Functional Analysis and Operator Theory. His articles have appeared in the Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society (2003), the Journal Recherce di Matematica (2002) and the Michigan Mathematical Journal (1999). Dr. Paliogiannis is a member of the American Mathematica Society, the Mathematical Association of America and the New York Academy of Sciences.

Brother Gary's interest and expertise lie in both mathematics and the art of studying the subject. He has taught for almost forty years, with experience on all levels of mathematics education. Brother Gary introducing advanced courses in many high schools, gaining a reputation as an expert in methods of study. He has also edited teaching manuals on study methods with an emphasis on the college bound and has traveled throughout the United States instructing teachers in study skills.

Professor Shochat's scholarly work focuses on Mathematical Logic, in particular Model Theory. He just completed his Ph.D. dissertation on "Automorphisms of Short Recursively Saturated Models of Arithmetic" at CUNY Graduate Center. Dr. Shochat joined the Mathematics Department in September 2002 and before that was a Mathematics Instructor at Medgar Evers College for four years. Professor Shochat is a graduate of St. Francis College, Class of 1997, and former co-captain of the College's soccer team. He is also a member of the Duns Scotus Honor Society.

Professor DiClementi's scholarly work focuses on hierarchical linear models, mathematics instruction, and reviewing curriculum trends in public education. He is presently working on a study analyzing immigrant students and dropout rates. He serves as the mathematics consultant for Victory Schools Inc., a management company that has initiated several charter schools in New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore.
