The Communication Arts Department believes that a well-rounded education much also consist of real-world learning. That means, several times a semester, professionals in their fields come to the College and students take on-site trips.

St. Francis Communication Arts Chairperson Lynne Jackson was awarded a grant to shoot video vignettes of SFC Alumni in Japan. Two students and a second professor travelled to Tokyo and Kyoto to help with the production.
